What is a Sound Bath?
A Sound Bath is an immersive listening experience, where instruments are played in a manner to help relax the body, calm the mind, and ignite one's inner awareness.
What should I expect from my first Sound Bath session?
Instead of expectations, come in with an open mind, to simply let go, and listen.
With the same sound, each person will have a different reaction to it, due to different states of mind, life experiences, and personal preferences. It is common to feel relaxed and calm at one point and to experience a very active "monkey mind" at another, as the sounds may bring up thoughts and emotions to the surface. This simply means that your body is in a state of release, allowing what doesn't serve you anymore to leave you, so your body and mind can be back at a harmonious, optimum level of vibration again. In short, you'd feel lighter, brighter and sleep deeper :)
Do I need to prepare anything?
For most in-studio sessions, mats, blankets and eye masks are provided. All you need to do is to turn up in comfortable clothing, preferably 10 mins before the start of the session, so you have time to settle down.
In exceptional cases where we need you to prepare something, we'd let you know prior to the session!
